Located at Las Tiendas de Palmilla, pez gordo is Los Cabos' leading forum for contemporary art. Owner/Artist Dana Lieb, began the gallery in 1999 after realizing the dearth of exhibition space available to area artists. Since opening, the gallery's roster has grown from 15 to more than 40 artists based in Los Cabos and throughout Mexico. With techniques ranging from oil and acrylic to encaustic (wax), collage, and photography, pez gordo offers an ample, eclectic collection designed to meet a broad variety of tastes and needs.
