2nd Arts day Out leaded by Todd Clouser in coordination with LIGA MAC was a total success!

All the great activities of the first and much more this past May 16th. Featuring a chance for our young artists and musicians to interact with some of the area’s finest professionals,  showcasing and furthering their talents. Also, the kids has the opportunity to decorate our “YO RECICLO” container for recycling materials and contribute to Los Cabos’ environment.

Past Friday April 24th a Gala Piano Concert in benefit to the Raramuri Tarahumara natives by Romayne Wheeler, pianist and composer was held at the center having a tremendous response. Previous to the concert, Romayne attended the press conference when he shared with us his message to help to this natives who lives in extreme poverty. The magnificent concert has a delightful reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres by Manuel’s Creative Cuisine. Thank you very much for your help and support.

We had the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful fashion show with the cloth of PEPITA, CASA VIEJA and others on February 19th. This was put on by Up South Magazine and keep an eye for the next one pretty soon.

Todd Clouser in coordination with Pez Gordo Gallery and Liga Mac has a huge success on this inaugural ARTS DAY OUT with around 300 kids and their families. Kids met like-minded and interacted with local artists using professional equipment and material while delighting refreshments and having lots of fun.

Over 400 gifts handed out to the children of families in need.

For the second year in a row, we hosted this magical event where the entrance ticket was a single unwrapped toy. This year, over 400 happy shoppers attended the event held on December
10th. In return for their admission they received a glass of wine, and desserts while enjoying music provided by the Liga Mac choir, Los Angeles, and Todd Clouser and his band.

This past November 28th we held at the center dedicated helping children with autism in the community of Los Cabos. Admission included completed breakfast with mimosas followed by a fashion show plus an art exhibition by Pez Gordo featuring Santiago Garcia and Jim Williams.

A delegation from Las Vegas came to Los Cabos for its highlighted beauty and its capacity for tourism. They believe it is a great potential for this relationship between Las Vegas and Los
Cabos. This delegation was integrated by: University of Las Vegas, Robert Richard Holage developer of the Palms Hotel and Mouline Rouge Hotel and Sandy Peltyn from Global Professional Media Consulting and the President of the Chamber of Commerce for Latin American were hosted by this cabinet.

By Los Cabos municipality, the hosts of this magnificent event included: Oscar Rene Nuñez Cosio Municipal President, Astrid Castañeda Manager of Communication for the API in Los Cabos, Ulises Mendez President of the Chamber for the Restaurant industry, Roberto Padilla President of Public Relation Association in Los Cabos, Jesus Corral President of Skol Group and Miroslava Bautista Tourism Secretary. During their stay in Los Cabos they were part of different activities, they visited the City Hall (Palacio municipal), local developments, Casa Hogar (woman’s shelter), Activities centers, hotels, restaurants, etc. In their last day, they visited The Shoppes at Palmilla, where they had a singer and belly dance performance after this show they went into Nick San Restaurant.

Past July 2008, Tiendas de Palmilla hosted to The Los Cabos Public Relations Association (ARPCA) to announce their 2008-2009 Board of Directors and Members, elected this past February 2008. The 2008-2009 Board of Directors are: Roberto Padilla (Grupo Nick San), President; Carmen Meade (Grupo Baja Cantina), Vice President; Erika Ruiz (MK Corporation), Secretary; Lorena Mejia (Canopy Costa Azul), Treasurer; and Maria Ampudia (Grupo Questro), Memberships. Elected committee members are: Guadalupe Rojas (Manager, Cruz Roja), Assistant Secretary; Emma Garcia (Sunset Da Mona Lisa), Protocol Liaison; Jesus Corral (Grupo CG), Private Initiative Liaison; and Sabrina Lear (Photojournalist), Communications Liaison.
Board and committee members will take their oath of office on July 1, 2008.

A brief toast catered by Trinidad with closed friends and municipality authorities who witnessed how Roberto Padilla acquire the compromise on unification, planning, and consistency to support and work for the destination’s productivity. ARPCA recognizes that the Plan Los Cabos 2025 is a master plan for sustainable growth, and that it is ARPCA’s professional and social responsibility to connect to and contribute to all efforts as much as possible.

Yandi Monardo, artist represent by Pez Gordo Gallery held at The Shoppes at Palmilla a special art exhibition with kids from Amaranto School where they had the opportunity to exhibit their own pieces of art in a special cocktail with their families.

Special art exhibition with GALERIA LA GRANDE receiving more than 300 guest which enjoyed appetizers provided by Nick San and complimentary wines from Roganto.
