A Local Attraction Receives a New Image

In an effort to do away with the old image of the plaza that it was, Las Tiendas de Palmilla has recently rebranded itself as The Shoppes at Palmilla. Catering to the high end clientele of the area, the new image is the first step in attracting a new shop mix that will serve both the tourist and local community.

According to Plaza Manager Alan Baron, "the plaza is undergoing some major changes. There are many projects in the works and we are looking forward to our recent efforts coming to fruition. There are several new shops slated to open in the coming months that will compliment the current mix of the plaza."

Baron mentioned that his team is excited to make the announcements of the new tenants, but stated that until exact opening dates are set, he must keep all information confidential.

Alan Baron takes over as Plaza Manager

Las Tiendas de Palmilla has brought in a new plaza manager to oversee operations. As of July 1st 2008 Alan Baron will take over as Plaza Manager for both Las Tiendas de Palmilla and Plaza El Faro. Mr. Baron will assume all duties previously held by Lucero Delgado while overseeing all operational functions of both centers.

Mr Baron brings with him a wealth of knowledge from his many years in the commercial real estate business. Previously based in Newport Beach, Ca, Mr. Baron has recently relocated to Los Cabos and is looking forward to taking the helm of these two well known shopping centers.

Yo Reciclo

We are very proud to announce that we are participating with “Yo Reciclo” (”I Recycle”) a local organization in Cabo. The Shoppes at Palmilla has created a Collection Center so you can bring us your used materials to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumptions of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, air and water pollution and generate less garbage.

Recycling materials will be different each month. During May we will be receiving cardboard. Please bring your all your cardboard flat and without labels or metallic items.

We placed a special container in our center for all the recycling materials. Also in our kiosks you can find brochures and more details and useful tips to do at home to help us to save energy helping our environment.
